Title: November Model of the Month (Motor Bike)
Post by: Graham Lee on November 02, 2020, 04:33:58 PM
A last minute change of plan. I was going to have the Poppy as model of the month but decided on the Motor Bike instead.
I think this will be a more popular choice.

As the chrome balloon is a good 4 fingers longer than a normal 260 then this design is possible from two balloons,
if making with a Grey balloon rather than the chrome then you will need to use a 160 for the handle bars.
I will post a picture like this at the end for you to see.

Inflate the chrome 260 leaving approx 9 fingers un-inflated.

Make a 2 finger bubble followed by a 1 finger pinch twist for the wing mirror.
Then a 1.5 finger bubble and another 1 finger pinch twist that will be the light.

Inflate the Black 260 leaving approx 6 fingers un-inflated.
Make two 1 finger pinch twists.

Make a 2.5 finger bubble in the chrome balloon and attach the two black pinch twists to this joint.

You then need two 3 finger bubbles twisted back into the pinch twists for the inner section of the front wheel.

Wrap the 260 Black snugly around the two 3 finger chrome bubbles to make the front tyre.

Make a 2.5 finger bubble in both the black 260 and chrome 260 and attach to the light pinch twist.

Now make a 4 finger bubble followed by a 2 finger pinch twist in the Black 260.

You need a 4 finger bubble in the chrome 260 and twist around the black pinch twist.
Make a 3 finger bubble in the Black 260 and then a 1.5 finger pinch twist which will be the motor bike seat.

Now twist a 3 finger bubble in the chrome 260 around the motor bike seat pinch twist.

You need two 3 finger bubbles in the chrome 260 for the inner rear wheel, twisted back intro the black seat pinch twist.
Carrying on with the chrome make a 3 finger bubble back to the 2 finger Black pinch twist.

Snugly fit the Black 260 around the inner chrome wheel bubbles to make the rear tyre and twist into the seat pinch twist.

You need a soft 6 finger bubble for the rear seat support, this should be a very softish bubble.
Twist this back into the rear seat pinch twist to make the rear support for the seat.
Discard the rest of the Black 260 balloon.

Make a 4 finger bubble in the chrome balloon and twist around the pinch twist that will be the light.

You then need a 1.5 finger bubble followed by a 1 finger bubble for the other wing mirror.

And then the last 2 finger bubble for the rest of the handle bars. Discard the rest of the chrome balloon.

If you leave the light pinch twist facing down the bike the handle bars take on a very low look.

And if you turn the light pinch twist to run across the bike the handle bars can be positioned slightly higher.

This is the bike with 160 for the handle bars. This gives you more room when making the bike with the chrome 260.
If you would prefer proportioned handle bars in chrome then double stuff the chrome with a clear or a white 160 and then inflate.
The chrome will be the size of a 160 then when inflated. Hope that helps.....................
