Hurrah!!! This is my first entry to the competition. I am pleased I managed to make this as it is the most complicated model I have made to date. I made raisin twists for the first time and also used the geo balloon for the first time. It took me about an hour to complete partly due to the learning curve and also as I popped several balloons (thankfully not the geo balloon as I didn't have anymore other than the red one kindly supplied in the pack).

Thanks Graham for a great model.

More pics as I was limited to just three in my last post. I particularly like the one of the cat in the hedge :-)

      A valuable lesson was learnt this evening........  Do not let the children play with the balloon until Daddy has taken the photo for the competition!

One burst black geo later I give you my first entry the purple headed cat. Really love the design Graham, hope I'm given a newbie wildcard with the purple head and still able to enter.

Just starting to do mine now Graham, when tying the raisins onto the Geo - Its made the sections appear smaller - how do I rectify this for the future? Less air in the geo?

It might be you need to make the raisin inside smaller?

The competition for this month closes on the 7th Oct and the winner announced on the 8th Oct.

I'm going to post my entry tomorrow, I didn't quite understand the bits where the white joins the black at the neck.

The geo cat competition closes on the 7th, so a couple of days to post your last minute entry.
You stand a good chance of winning as at the moment we only have 4 entries.

Both the links do not work, you have to resize the picture I'm afraid, the joy of balloon chat at the moment.
Details here will help, I use irfanview. posting-pictures-and-sizing-the-forum-t2113.html
