Here is the challenge for this month, a parody of Mickey Mouse which was used for a disney celebration in London when they launched the incredibles? I think.

Graham,

Will you be deducting points if we make this from 260s instead of 360s?

If so will you be doing a special offer on 360s for the month? :D

Martin.

It's all made with 260's so no 360's required unless you'd like to go large for an extra few pennies

Oh... cool.

Looked far too chunky for 260s! Onwards then... :)

Graham,

I'm trying to get going on this but the bubble arrangement on the back of the head/ears is completely stumping me... :?

Any chance of a couple of hints to get going?

Thx,
Martin.

It's very similar to the teddy bear head with 2 small bubbled between the ears where the eyes attach & also the black balloon that comes down to make the body. This balloon pushes the side of the face bubbles out to give a more rounded face.

Hope this helps :)

Don't forget we still have Patricia's dvd competition, as yet no one has entered :(

For eyes, you just make 2 white bubbles or 3?

I've done a draw on your picture to show the different balloons as I think. Can you tell me If I'm right?

Not my best. It's been a long time since I worked for the mouse. From memory it went somthing like this. I will see if I can remember it better and post another one later in the month
Twisting is more fun with balloons

I would have normally put the instructions up for this by now but will hold off for a while to see if anyone else fancies having a go at making it.
Dave at the care & share made a really good one yesterday, hopefully he'll put it on here soon.

Dont forget the balloon chat challenge for this month is dogs.

Here are the instructions for the mouse that looks like............
Hopefully it will help a few to post there efforts.

I've used all different colours to help with the construction & trying to take pictures of black would have made it very difficult to follow;

HEAD

To make the head of the mouse inflate a 260 to six fingers un-inflated.
2 finger bubble, pinch twist, two 2 finger bubbles wrapped around the pinch twist.
Wrap the 260 over the top of the two 2 finger bubbles for ears.
Two, 1 finger bubbles for the top of the head and then make the second ear, pinch twist, two 2 finger bubbles with the 260 wrapped over & around the two 2 finger bubbles.
To finish of twist a 2 finger bubble & tie the first & last bubbles together.

FACE

Use a peach or blush & inflate to 6 fingers uninflated & attach to the bottom of the head.
Twist two 6 finger loop twists for his cheeks, twist two 4 finger bubbles & wrap back into the cheek bubbles. An 8 finger fold twist for his lower mouth & a pinch twist at the back of the head to help push out the cheeks.

BODY

Attach another black 260 in between the two 1 finger bubbles at the top of the head.
Twist a 2 finger neck bubble & twist around the pinch twist for the arms.
You then need a 5 finger bubble, small pinch twist, another 5 finger bubble wrapped around the pinch twist for the arms. Repeat again so that you have four 5 finger bubbles for the body.

ARMS

From a 260 make a 9 finger bubble, pinch twist & another 9 finger bubble.
