LEGS

You need a 8 finger bubble, pinch twist into the centre of the bottom of the shorts.
Another 8 finger bubble, pinch twist, two 2 finger bubbles pinch twist. Tie the first leg into the last pinch twist.
The pinch twist at the top of the legs is pushed into the bottom of the shorts.

SHOES

Tie the balloon into one of the leg pinch twists & twist two 3 finger bubbles, wrap the 260 around & over these bubbles the same as we did the ears.
Repeat for second shoe.

HANDS

Twist a 3 finger thumb then two small pinch twists & three 2 finger bubbles for the fingers. (if you don't like the two white pinch twists here you could make them in black when making the arms)

EYES

Twist the balloon into the cheeks, twist a 3 finger bubble & wrap the end of the balloon that was attached to the top of the head between the two 1 finger bubbles around the 3 finger eye bubble securely. Twist another 3 finger eye bubble & wrap around the cheeks.

TONGUE

Just inflate a 2/3 finger bubble wrap around the cheeks & push fit into the lower mouth.

NOSE

Inflate a 1 finger bubble leaving a long uninflated piece of balloon to tie into the the cheeks after you've tied the nose between the two 4 finger face bubbles.

You can make two small tulip twists from yellow 160's to add into the shorts as in the first posts on this thread.

A couple of things that may help.

The second balloon that is attached between the ears at the top of the head, make sure this is slightly larger than you think is required as it helps make the face look so much more rounder & mouse like.

The pinch twist at the back of the cheeks is very important for the look of the face.

The pinch twists at the bottom of the body & top of the legs must be a good tight fit so if you can push these into the shorts then out agian & back in at a different position they will make the whole body sit a lot firmer. Hard to explain but hopefully you get the idea.

The pinch twists at the side of the ears can be moved around so that the ears move over to look like there more on the side of the head than on top, again making the model look more mousey, in my opinion.

Dont forget to draw the eyes on & add a few spots around the nose.
Hope the explanation is fairly clear & please have a go at the model.........Please, as these instructions have taken me two & a half hours to write up & get the pictures :o  ;)  :D

And a picture with the mouse in his correct colours. I have to say that I never used to make this model but since putting it on here at the beginning of last month I've made it a few times & it get's some very good reactions. Happy Twisting.

Here you go Graham... here's my belated entry albeit constructed with your excellent step by step builds!

A fun model to make... it cost me a fortune in popped black balloons, although blowing them all up did provide a good test for my new home-made electric pump.

Martin.
