Can anyone help me?  I am getting to the stage where I am trying to get my décor portfolio going before I start actively seeking jobs.

My big problem in this respect is that I cannot find a suitable album to put the photos in.

I have had a look on line but all I can see is huge folders for putting art work in or regular photo albums!

Ideally I would like to have 8" x 10" photos in my portfolio and by going by the QBN disks it should have between 12-20 photos in it.  I would also prefer something that I can slip the photo's into rather than stick them into as it means as I gain more experience I can update the photos rather than being stuck with the originals.

I had found one that looked nice but they want £10 to deliver it but I can't find it anywhere else at all but then again I am rubbish with Google  ;)

yvonne look for something called a sales presenter - it's a glorified loose leaf folder with clear slip in pockets - the sort of thing kitchen and double glazing salesmen use

You'll find some here

Hi Yvonne, I bought a load in Tesco and they are just cheap brightly coloured with see through sleeves. Think they were less than £1 each.
That way you can have more than one book for different things.
Your decor portfolio
Ideas book with professional photos (downloads from Q or whoever else)
Your twisting portfolio
Any another one for jams and the like where not all the work is yours but for ideas and inspiration when you see really cool stuff.

Oh I am heading to a large Tesco's tomorrow I will have a look.  I managed to get an actual 8x10 portfolio book from eBay for about £8 which is actually quite nice but I could do with other albums like you suggest Ali.  I actually would like a photo album for when I am doing twisting or painting for those children that just cannot make a decision  ;)

hi yvonne.
i have the same problem, but i went to tesco and bought some nice photo albums that allows you to put photos of any size(i am going to be using 7 x 5) in them and can be changed quite easily.
although these are £10 each i think that for me they are perfect.
