I'm feeling a bit chuffed with myself as it may only be a small step for mankind but an amazing technology step for me.

The new part of the news page about twist & shout was all put on the site by myself with a couple of phone calls to my web designer so I thought I'd just share this momentous occassion with you all

There are others but I have to say that this is the one I look at all the time, I rarely go  and peek elsewhere and when I do recently it seems those I really respect are somewhat unhappy so why I go looking anywhere else I haven't a clue.This is the best and long may it remain so.

I could do with getting some snippets of balloon news that would be suitable for the home news page. Are you doing a big charity event, special show, helping out somewhere, anything at all really.
As it's good to change the front page every week if possible so that it keeps the site looking fresh, so please let me have any details that you'd like mentioning.

Tony and I are doing the London taxi drivers fund for underprivileged children gig on Sunday - I'll try and get some photo's done and put a few words together - the details are in Tonys' post in the members area - I think they are still looking for at least one more twister if any one else fancies coming along?

Has anyone got some balloon related news etc that I can add to the front news page?

Just a reminder to everyone that if you have any balloon related news then please pass on details so that I can keep the front news page of the forum updated, as we are always struggling to keep the news page fresh and updated. More than happy to plug any events you may be entertaining at or going to and you can also advertise on the site for free as well, just send over your advert with what areas you would like to advertise in and I can size it down to fit.

Hi Graham, just a thought . . . . each time you update the New's Page, it might be a good idea to just post on here that it has been updated again.

The reason I say this is because when I visit BalloonChat every day, I go to my favourites and it takes me straight to the forum page, bypassing the home page, I've had it set like that from the start. If anyone else is doing the same, they will also bypass it, missing the latest news.

To be honest, I forget about it, then every so often, I remember and have a look. So maybe a quick post just saying the Home Page has been updated will prompt more of us to visit it. Many thanks, you're doing a fantastic job on the forum.
