Hi All, since I've been on Balloon Chat I've often encountered problems posting, I've been using Internet Explorer 8 and for some reason it doesn't like this forum.

All attempts to cure the problems and many e-mails and chats with Graham didn't solve the problem and I thought I'd have to scrub round using balloon chat as it wouldn't let me post.

I've now found the answer and thought I'd share it with you all just incase I'm not the only one encountering problems.

It's simple I downloaded another browser, (Google Chrome) and now I can access and post on Balloon Chat with no problems.

I wont stop useing Internet Explorer as my default browser, but I'll keep this google one just for Balloon Chat.

Anyway I hope this helps anyone else who's had problems.
Yours Funfully
Clive

Thanks Clive, I did have a look at the back of the forum and did manage to put you in your own group but was then unable to get you onto permissions. I'm sure it's easy if you know how :o
Will let Ozzy & Dave know about this as I'm sure they've had trouble in the past with posting here as well.

I use Mozilla Firefox which is also free to download.  I find it is much more stable to use than IE as I had never ending problems with that.  The only thing I cannot view on Firefox is ITV!!!

Just so people know Mozilla also do free email, web design and various other programmes and applications too so well worth a look.

I use Firefox as well it's never given me a problem with this forum - I love it - the range of add ones is good too,

I also use their email client Thunderbird which is pretty good at identifying and dealing with SPAM

Incidentally, a good Alternative to Microsoft Office is Open Office - which is free and has all the same programs in and can work with and save Office file formats such as .doc .xls etc. lots of nice features in it too.
