The saga of my new car, well I bought one 8 weeks ago from a main dealer.
The short story is that it has to go back as it's not fit for purpose.
The good news is I went and bought another car this morning,
picking it up on Sat so fingers crossed this one is fit for the road.
Well I know it is as the person I bought it from let us take it to an
MOT centre and it was tested and all passed with no advisories.
Glad things are getting worked out. Sorry you had to deal with the trouble from the first go around.
Cheers Daniel, It's still a challenge as I now have to re-claim all my extra expenses from the garage
and they at the moment are not pre-paired to pay these. I'm hoping once they get the car back and view
the underneath of the car they will change there mind. That and the independent report form the AA
we have had to get done. Off this morning to pick up my next new car, fingers crossed for this one.
It's been fun trying to tax my car, as it's so old the new owners document is
not recognised on the online re-new website so I had a trip down to the local
post office and had to tax it from 1st Dec although I only bought it on the 23rd Dec.
Another £16 of expenses from buying the dodgy car.
I also got the AA report back about the old car, it states the car is severely and excessively corroded.
So fingers crossed that will be of some help when trying to get all our costs back.

That made me smile Dan as there is a breakfast cereal in America called Golden Graham.
And yes I have the gold car now and was meant to be taking the old one back this week
but I have been pretty ill and unable to anything at the moment.
I took the old car back yesterday, rather disappointed with the attitude of the garage.
Surely the first thing to do would be put it up on the ramp and see if there was a problem.
Then even defend themselves and say they are happy with the car or take a step back
and make things right, if by chance the car got through the system by mistake.
Someone else may well have been intimidated but I rather stood my ground.
