Title: Rabbit costume
Post by: Billy Wiz on October 28, 2010, 09:34:52 AM
Hi all,

I have brought this costume – just waiting for it to arrive now.

I'm asking if you can suggest any one liners I could use while wearing it. I'll be walking around making the occasional simple balloons but would love to have a selection of sayings/jokes/one liners etc ready in advance.

Any suggestions please . . . .

Neat costume Billy.  Just wondered though, how easy is it going to be to twist with your hands in there?

Hope it goes well
Lisa

Not too sure yet Lisa, although if I can't twist, I have many other ideas for it. I'll be launching it at the opening of a Grotto at a garden centre I often work at. The intension is for the first hour or so (I'm there for 9 hours twisting this day) I'll be handing out leaflets advertising the Breakfast and Tea's with me and Santa which we do at the store. Then into the normal balloon modelling and for a break, I'll walk around with the costume on again.

Really hoping it works, but won't know until it gets here and until I try it in the real world :)

You could always say you are early for wishing them a Happy Easter!! or tell them you are the Christmas Bunny!!

Then theres the White rabbit lines from Alice - running round saying I'm late and looking for the clock, Alice etc

Neat costume....

Thanks guys, I like the idea of asking if the kids have seen a big white rabbit anywhere?

Tony, it cost £545, I know it's a big cash outlay, but I'm hoping it will be a success, if not, it'll be on Ebay by the end of the year ;) They are made in France.

The is another one I also like . . . . . it's a huge gorilla holding a big cage, with me sat inside the cage. A little worried that it might have been a bit scary for the kids though.

Hi Billy, Great costume.

Just an idea, don't know if it wil work or not......

If you have an electric bum-bag pump, how about extending the hose/nozzle so it comes out of the rabbit's mouth,so the rabbit can blow up the balloons.

The noise the pump makes can be utilised by telling the kids he is a very rude bunny, in fact he's a bit of a burpy bunny, 'cos every time he blows a balloon up he burps. Now this is very rude, so promise you won't laugh if he burps, no, you said you wouldn't laugh, no  it's very rude, no laughing etc etc......

Just an idea, it may or may not work.

Have fun  :D  :D  :D

The Bunny and I had a bet ..... I lost!!

This is my solution to taking the underground..... Rabbit Transit!! (Rapid Transit might not work in UK)

No really ... his name is Harvey....

We met through a mutual friend ..... do you know Alice?

Ha ... you should see what is in the hat now?

I think my legs fell asleep...

Rabbit??? Where???? (keep spinning around)

Hope he doesn't try to pick me up by the neck....

Love to come to your house .... when shall we hop over?

You should see his cage....

NEVER put Miracle Grow on your carrots!!!!!
