Krazy Kev

Hi All,
Just returned form a miserable gig down in Middlseborough. I had 25 mins left to do when a guy came running in to tell me some yobs had trashed my van. What actually happened was they smashed my window to take the factory fitted sat nav. So I am now out of pocket being £179 lighter and minus one sat nav. They were only kids of around 12 apparentley. I would still string them up by their tiny balls and make them squeel. I would do a lots more besides but I'm supposed to be a children's entertainer. So if you or your parent are reading this then look me up - I dare you.....

Sorry to here that Kev, not a nice thing to happen.
Over the years I've had my van broken into twice, they took the stereo once & a good battery power drill another time.
It's all the inconvenience & aggravation of getting things fixed as well.

I believe in karma, so deep breaths. What comes around goes around or something like that.
Keep smiling :D  ;)

oh dear you poor thing. im afraid its the times we live in. weve had our van systematically vandalised every few days until we could not longer use it. because theyre under age, nothing can be done, even if you know their names and addresses, the parents will make sure you get worse back. ah well

Sorry to hear about it Kev.
I had mine broke into last year, they got away with my case full of close magic, stuff i've collected over the years, that can't be replaced. They must of thought they were getting an expensive camera when they took it, but probably threw it away when they saw what was inside. I had to drive from central London back to Doncaster with the back window smashed. Not Nice!!!!

Sorry to hear you bad news Kev.

Had my make up nicked on 23 Dec and had one more show the next day all the suppliers were shut so I had no make-up.

I phoned the client up and arranged to do the last show without make-up.

Got such a good result for the kids at the show I realised I did not need make-up so ditched it. My USP is "A clown that does not wear make-up"

From a bad experience I got something positive out of it.

well i have to say i would take the car broken in to right now as I need to tax the car tomorrow with only 10 pound in the bank lol so i thought i would go busking try and raise money and the CAT fell to the floor when i went over a speed bump so theres more money got home and i thought i better start looking for the MOT and V5 turned the hole house upside down and cant find them so the cars off the road intill i can find all the bits and get some cash bad news i have a gig on friday.

But on a good point if your exhaust ever falls off get under it and balloons will hold it it for a bit found a 646 worked well got to love balloons  :D

Never mind me! I feel sorry for you lot even more now...  Thanks for the concern but It is annoying but to know there are so many victims it makes me angry.
Greame- they didn't get the rest of my stuff which was in the van. I was only doing balloons so the magic and PA gear was still in the back. They smashed the window and unhooked the Sat nav and were off. I thougt the Sat nav was a factory fitted one so didn't realise it could be detached.
Right - time to start a vigilante group for entertainers...

Firstly let me appologise, I have been a member forseveral weeks now, but because a a fault on my internet connection I have been unable to post a message on the forum.

Last Sunday I woke to find that I had had 2 tyres slashed on both my cars. So had 62 other owners in the neighbourhood. Golly gosh thought I!
Fortunately they have been caught by the police.

I expect they will get a slap on the wrist; but if you overfill your waste bin........
