Have I got the name right here? Someone said it was Arna, I did a google search and only found Anna.

Anyway I was having a play today and it was all going wrong, the head started with a double stuffed heart but did not look right to me so I kept moving things about and eventually it popped so went back to the quick link way. The shoulders did not sit right, I was doing wrong colours. Then the 646 would not sit correct, it was all a challenge and eventually after a long time I ended up with this. Will attempt some artwork tomorrow.

Looking at the picture now the nose looks a little too high so will have a go at moving the position of it tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Really like the dress idea, great for smaller delivery pieces (rather than the 5 foot Elsa).
I think Thelma once said that she does a lot of faces without artwork and I started to do more of the same. I think they can look more elegant without. Plus, sometimes when I add artwork, you can't help getting the impression of a sex doll (many adults have made such reference to me as a joke but I see what they mean)

I had a little play with what was loose. Not as neat and tidy as Graham's nor is my nose right but with a little practice this could be quite quick for a medium sized sculpture.

Thelma made an Elsa similar to your one Stuart at the juggling event, it was from a 350. I added a new head and drew the eyes on before placing the quick link in position so the eyes look like they sit a little high but it made it easier for me to draw on like this. Struggling to get some pictures due to glare and flash so will take a couple more in the morning when I do not have to have lights in house on or flash.

I tried something I have not done before on this. I put water in a black 11inch and then attached to the body before tulip twisting and thing off (sure that has another name but it escapes me at the moment) this way it stand by itself.
I still need to spend a week just trying to figure out hair.

I have tried to steer clear of Anna on mainstream twisting jobs, but on Sunday I had an insistent girl dressed as Anna, so I had to do my best.

Got back home yesterday, and tried to work it better, but was so difficult to get the hair plats and head to sit well on the body.

BUT I was quite pleased with how the body and dress came out. Anna's cloak has a big collar, and wraps round her a lot, which is different to Elsa's cloak which just flows behind.  I think I got that looking OK, and the Qualatex Wild Berry seems the right colour.  I tried different arm positions, and I like the second one best.

Still trying to work out head / hair positioning though ...... will keep you informed  :D  :D
Kind regards
Kevin

I think a lot of the time my models are not for the real world as you need them to be quick and yet have the vital look when busking or working lines.

So from Kevin's post above and Anna, this got me to have a play this morning.
I added a cape to the one I did yesterday and then made a smaller real world version but then my real world possibly is not real world.

Looking good Graham, I do a real world Anna, I must take a pic and share it on here.

It IS spelt Anna however the kids seem to pronounce it Arna, also, she has 2 plaits, one on each side of her head :D (just to make it more confusing), Kids notice these little details when it comes to such an important film in their lives, Anna has 2 Plaits, Olaf only has 1 tooth :D important details :D

Yes I was going to mention the 2 plaits but then it slipped my mind, I will go and add the other one later just so that I have a picture for completeness.

I thought the bigger Anna's arms were too short and the smaller one's too long so changed them.
