Hello Everyone,
Often people ask me for a hat with their age on to celebrate their birthday & usually ask for crowns & cake hats, though sometimes they want something fast & simple & I need more ideas?
I am sure that that you have had to make birthday hats many times yourselves & would be grateful if you could share any ideas.
Thanks,
Daniel M

I come from Leyland, Lancashire. Quite a group of Northerners here - sorry to go off topic, just got a touch excited!

This is the simple version of the hat I use most often when twisting for ladies (of all ages) I write the birthday message on the hearts. It uses 5 balloons but only has about 6 twists.
Normally I will embellish the hat with a 260 bow in the back and a string of pearls around the spiraled balloons in front.

Thanks Bonnie,
Your hat deserves its name & I will certainly use it.

So if one number hat..we don't need to snap the balloon right..? :D :)
why stop at numbers? letters could be used too :)
I have made many name hats & yes they do take longer than birthday hats which only need two digits.
This is one that I usually use.Name-hat.jpg[/attachment:3ixkt0ds]

Daniel,
I really like that Bday hat! It may not be the fastest, but it sure is eyecatching. I can see making that at a Bparty for the guest of honor.
Thanks for sharing it!
