Those who can to the last North West Pub Jam at Christmas, will know the fun and games we had trying to make one of these, but I did it!!

Well done Sarah! ...looks good.

I haven't tried it again since the jam... I'm still psychologically damaged by all those clear 646's I popped

Brilliant Sarah....You have done a great job !!!!!

The "Enchanted Rose" is probably the most difficult thing I have ever made. It really did my head in, but the reaction it got was so worth it. :D  :D

I learnt it from a you tube video by Princess Twister, and made it for a wedding, but also photographed it with a Belle from "Beauty and the Beast", if any Birthday Girl wants one for a party.

However, I have never made another one, and am loath to advertise it in case anyone wants one, and puts me through all that trauma again,

 I don't know if I could cope !!!!!!!!!
Kind regards
Kevin

My problem is getting the clear balloon clear and not cloudy!

Are you using a pump? If you mouth inflate it will take a while to clear from the moisture in your breath.

I'm using a pump but seems to get powder on the outside. I used some of the polish I use on helium balloons, forgot it's name!

Just the problem I have with anything in a clear balloon, even though I always pump inflate.

I find the tighter the balloon is inflated, the clearer it is, but then you have the problem of it being more prone to burst.

I just try to get a compromise on tightness and clarity.

I find that if you first turn the clear balloon inside out that it doesn't get as cloudy.

I will give that a try!

Hello everybody!
I just find a teaching video on You Tube, which show the technique with a 646 Q balloon. The man also turns the inside of the balloon out. I think, that a good idea! See by yourself!! Here is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S732NQ6LWNY&feature=watch_response_rev
The video called "beauty and the beast flower.3GP

Hope you enjoy!
