Dave, if there is anyway you can post the balloons needed before you release the download that would be supercool so I won't have to wait before I start making them,

That's such a good idea nippy, I am always so disappointed when I buy instructions and then have to either wait til I order balloons to make them or ad lib with another shape.  Balloon addicts just have to try a new design right NOW!  "Waiting" is not programmed in our brain lol.

Wow, great idea Darren. I never thought to do that. I created PDFs with a picture of each design and a list of the product needed for it. I was going to release it along with the video, but now that you mention it, I think I will release them a bit earlier.
But just for some advanced warning, you will need 16" and 36" rounds in various colors, along with the usual 260, 350, and 646's.

Thanks Dave, that would be really helpful as I am very impatient and would love to make these brilliant designs as soon as the download is available.

Will you be teaching the mask technique again? If not it may be worth mentioning this now so that non-mask owners have the chance to buy the mask download and get practicing!

I will not be teaching the masks on this video. They are used as bonus ideas for those who already know how to make the masks. But rest assured, you will not be limited if you don't have the Masks video.

Love these!  Will definitely be getting them!

A couple questions...  Will the videos be identical, download and DVD?

Will the download be available before Easter for the bunny?  That would be great!

Twisted: You can pre order the DVD right now! Go to www.niftyballoons.com/videos for more details about that.

Evan: The downloadable video will have the exact same content, although the online format is slightly different since it is ont on a DVD with a menu. The download will be available starting April 1st.

I love these!!  I do have one question...how and to whom do you market these?  I'm at a lose as to where to go with them, and would love any ideas that anyone has!

Lynnae,

The goal with this new video is to introduce some decor concepts that we, as entertainers, can up sell to our clients. Decor is a huge chunk of the market that we just leave sitting on the table when people call for party entertainment.

On the video, I take you step by step through the process from the ground up. You learn how to make your own base plate and pole to support the design, and the concepts required to make a stable and secure column.

Another application is strictly advertising. Find a store or restaurant in your neighborhood that would like some fun decor for a holiday and offer to set one or two of these up in their lobby, along with your business cards or flyer. We often set one up in the restaurants where we are performing, and leave them up all week to create more buzz for our kids night promotion.

And to be quite frank, my original reasoning behind these designs was to come up with decor ideas that did not bore me to tears. I can't stand building large decor pieces using hundreds of small rounds (I appreciate those kinds of designes, but I don't want to make them myself). I wanted to find a way to paint with big broad stroaks and use the full palate of balloons that we have at our disposal.

Hope that helps. Enjoy!

Excellent ideas, David!  I hope you didn't think I was being a jerk when I asked, I genuinely couldn't quite figure out the marketing aspect.  As I said, I really love them, and want to figure out reasons to be able to make them a lot!  I'm doing an installation at my library in April (they have a large window when you walk in) and can't wait to make the froggy for it!  So fun!
