Not sure if I have ever tried to make a koala before.

I think Koalas are definitely a tough design.  I really like the one with the branch and leaves :-).

Had another go at the Koala, still needs a lot of work.
The waistline of the trousers I think is interesting so will have a play the next time I make a person.

the 2nd one with the vine, in my opinion is too much.  It looks more like a dog face to me than a koala.  I like the outfit you put on the last one, cute idea :-).
I don't know  if you remember the simple koala I did a few years ago.  Nothing as detailed as yours, but there are instructions for it on Balloonhq. This is what it looked like.  image029.jpg[/attachment:f6eaaw3f]
and another version with a fatter face.image031.jpg[/attachment:f6eaaw3f]

Here is the link for the instructions if anyone wants it. http://balloonhq.com/column/tmcneill/jul09/

I agree, I do not like the look of the face for a Koala.
Just another way I now know of how not to make a koala, he he.

The outfit is that there is a Koala in the new film coming out in Jan and he wears a blue suit.

I just used two 260 grey for this Koala, the grey wrapped around the nose is 260 here but
was a 160 on the original I poste earlier on this thread.
I changed the eyes to white as well although they should be black I think we get some
poetic licence when balloon modelling.

The second one looks like he is wearing a scarf, just trying different things.
Added a 160 around the nose and back of body.

More variations on the Koala.

double 260 at the front and four 260 behind the arms/leg section.
With a black 260 for the nose.

I then thought that a 350 might work for the nose and changed the eyes to white,
although technically the koala has black eyes but with balloon modelling sometimes
we need a poetic license.

Tried to draw the mouth on the pinch twist but I prefer it without that being drawn on.

here is a koala bear I played with today, I really like how it turned out.  I took it in to the restaurant today, and it framed their sign perfectly :-) 0207171443a-1.jpg[/attachment:f5l882tx]0207171606-1.jpg[/attachment:f5l882tx]0207171920-1.jpg[/attachment:f5l882tx]
