I had a go at a Mario Mask today using David's concept. I was fairly pleased with it (as with the birthday boy) but I still feel some improvement is required. If you have any ideas let me know!

I believe that is mr bomas yoshi made from 350's. you can find his tutorial on his youtube channel.

Yes I did upscale it using 350s and an 11" for the nose. A slight variation is I add an inflate 260Q white around the shell as I think it looks better.

you asked for improvements for the mask...

Its good but..
Black moustache and eyebrows.
Howabout a light blue around each eye - either puffed or 160. He has blue eyes in all the images!
Bigger & better ears - blush hearts soft and distorted?

However it does pass for an excellent Mario already!
