My friend Amy had a baby last week, so I made her a Balloon. As she runs a beauty salon called "Pearl and Flamingo" her friends wanted something to reflect that. In making it, I accidentally solved a problem I have with my Stork / Baby Balloons

I can never seem to get the stork to stand upright without any kind of support. The legs never have enough strength to hold the weight of the body, and the baby in the basket.

When I made the baby flamingo I had him sitting on a Geo, and thought wow, that would work with the stork, so I tried it, and yes...It did work !!

The whole thing is made out of 160's, with a 5" round for the babys head. The arch with the writing on is a 350, and I used a couple of strips of double sided tape to hold the legs in position, so they don't stick out awkwardly.

Hope you like it, and may be able to use it  :D  :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Hi Lee,

The Edding 750 is generally accepted as the best white marker to use. I have never seen it in the shops, so these guys are the best people to get it from.

There service ie excelent. The last order I put with them arrived the next day. Postage is free on orders over £10.00, so get some other markers as well while you are at it  :D
Kind regards

What a great idea Kevin.  Even Storks have to sit down and have a rest on their way to a delivery, at least I think thats what he's doing.  Love it!
