If I have done this right the above is a link to the album I am working on for my new site.  I am trying to put up pics at the moment that are realistically doable on the majority of jobs.  What do you think?  Please bear in mind I am still a beginner but am working on improving

Hi Yvonne,

Can you not just upload the pictures straight onto a page of your website?
Could the pictures go on a brighter background?

Hi Yvonne,

I'm really sorry to sound negative, but if I was a member of the public, I would probably only watch the first 2 or 3 pictures. They look really good to me, as Graham said, a brighter background might give them an even fresher look. I would also upload them to your site as maybe thumb nails so people can look at the pictures as and when they want rather than having to wait for the next to show.

Sorry to sound negative, it's probably taken you ages to sort out that clip as well. The photos themselves show you have the expertise sorted, well done. :)

Cheers guys for the compliments about my work but it will take a long time before I am confident enough to call myself anything other than a beginner.

They are on black background as that is what the background of my site is and I wanted the models to stand out against it.  The actual album itself is an online jobby so didn't take long to do at all  ;)  but did it take a while to load?  Whilst I love the fancy gallery if it takes too long it will go which is half the reason for testing it on here.  You should of been able to choose the pic you wanted to view though by just clicking on it but if none of you were able (whether you could or not) then lots of others won't know either so perhaps then the gallery in it's current format is going.

Just need to work out how to do a nice thumbnail gallery without annoying people with pop up boxes.  Graeme (Billy) you may know if I do a page per picture at full size then I suppose I can make the thumbnails links that point to the same frame and put a back button on the large picture page?

Hi Yvonne, what program are you using? I use Frontpage, and when designing a gallery, I just add the picture, then right click and look for 'auto thumbnail'. Hope that helps

I've just noticed that does work Yvonne, sorry, I just presumed it was a video clip and I would have to wait until each photo loaded.
