I have been making a few Paddington Bears this week as I thought I'd film another Table Top Tutorial.
Started off with a 350 and a 260 design, tried different style hat and eyes.

Moved the eyes about and three different styles of hat.

Tweaking the design here and there, just the mouth, eyes and hat mainly.
I'm happy with the look of the coat and boots.

The last ones, I possibly like different things from different designs.

I have just made the tutorial for Paddington Bear available to purchase. It will be live on the forum from the 1st September to view.
I originally made the design way back in May 2018 and we filmed the tutorial in July 2020
Here is Paddington with two slightly different hats.

If you would like to purchase it,  https://balloonartwholesale.co.uk/balloons/balloon-tutorials/

I thought I'd have another go at making the hat for Paddington as last time I found this the most difficult thing to do with the design.
Thay are all still very much a work in progress and none look correct to me at the moment.

For the hat I was looking for that scrunched up ruffled look but was getting no where.
I tried a different colour mouth/nose but was not keen and changed it later on.

Back to a traditional colour for the mouth/nose

Another variation on the hat, they can look quite different just depending on the angle you take the picture.
Then attached to the body.

I just can't seem to get a good look for his hat, on picture images its very loose fitting and had a floppy look to it.
Still trying a few things though.

Picture 12, the hat looks way to big and a little turban like.
It was pretty late so the last picture I had to use my flash.

Just trying variations on the hat.......... and struggling to get a look I like and that will be easy to keep reproducing.

I have moved the nose up slightly on the design and changed the look so it's similar to the way I made the Mouse tutorial the other week.

The coat is bulked out with the trim and toggles being made from 260 and not as in the original with 160's
Plus with a different hat which does not look too bad, still making me mind up, he he.
