Title: Pete's Dragon
Post by: Graham Lee on July 16, 2016, 07:02:39 PM
A last minute job has come in for tomorrow, the premiere for Pete's Dragon up in London.
So a quick mock up, I was looking for with flames but as we need to be quick then no flames.

I had a lovely morning working with David and Jana at the premier for Pete's Dragon, most enjoyable.

I'd love to do a movie premiere - do you simply make the same balloon design to the line of guests? How does it work?

I will try to remember to ask you next time Darren, the money is not very good though.
I generally make the same design, yes and what is good is that the film starts at 11am and everyone disappears,
so no line control  :D

I enjoyed my first premier job- "Pan"
Yes the money wasn't great but was a great experience and also enjoyed working with some fab twisters- (Danny for one) As I hadn't worked with other twisters before!

Hi Graham and David, i have had an inquiry about prices for an event (big build) in an art studio in Munster (Rep of Ireland), now they want 3 sculptures representing, past, present, and future!!

Without over pricing, as i seem to be lately, Any advice on how you would price up a job similar to this in UK.

It's all a guesstimate Kenny, however long you think it will take then double it for the time thinking
about it and re-working and make sure you leave an extra day in the build. Good luck.
