Hey hey, or should I say Ahoy matey, that is very very good.
Will have to have a go at something like that soon  :?

Cheers matey!
It's basic weaving but figuring out the the design was difficult. I like to normally try and follow someone else's instructions. Graham put me onto a picture on BHQ which helped.

Hello Kev

I have tried started to make your pirate ship, with the help and guidance of Graham and others who were at the jam on Thursday. (Many thanks all) I was hoping to meet you there, never mind. Do you advise making all the ear twists and small 'joining bubbles' out of 360's as part of the weave or can I use 260's, to join them?

Amanda,

I would have thought you could do this either or really, what ever way is easier for you.
If you keep the whole model to 360's, I think this would help with keeping the structure more solid. As when the ship is on you it will help to keep it's shape better.

Hi Amanda,
To keep it from 'flopping' around I actually have a pinch twist on both sides of the ship to tighten it up. They are made out of the 360's. Where they meet I run a 260 up and weave the 360 pinch twists into that. I love the chocolate brown colour as regards to the old brown! I use a simple balloon harness out of 260's tied together, criss crossed, to put over my shoulders to hold it there.
