I was going through some old pictures looking for something and came across a bike design
I made way back so had a play and made a couple of newer versions.

Up sized the bikes and with Chrome. I was making the Bike when I heard that Marvin Hardy had
passed so for me from now on I will always call the bike the Marvin Hardy Push Bike XXxx

Bike 5 is the better looking with a couple of changes.

I threw the Bike design down on the floor and it ended up upside down which I thought was rather funny so we took
a picture as I do remember my bikes being like this a lot when I was younger and having to repair them  ;D ;D

I re positioned the handle bars and shortened the saddle to frame so it looked pore proportioned.

Added mud guards to the design but shock horror used a couple of glue dots.

Trying out some different proportions to see whats pleasing to the eye.
Bike 14 looks more BMX shale with the shorter section from seat to peddles.
Bike 16 is a more traditional styled Bike.

Adding mudguards did not work as the spoke section on front and back wheels would need to be 1 finger
longer so they both sit squarely on the Bike. I stretched the 160 while inflating so we got a thinner 160.
The front mudguard pushed the front forks too far forward and the Bike looked to be angled down.

I added an extra angled cross section so the front mud guard had a place to sit into
so the Bike sat a little better angle but still looked wrong to me..

Plus I added un-inflated balloons to hold the mudguards in place which is not my favourite thing to do.

The Bike is going to be the model of the month for May,
I have just taken all the pictures and tried three variations on the seat design.

This is the colour combination of balloons going out in the model of the month for April.
Its Chocolate Brown for the wheels/tyres as at the moment its hard to get Black 160's.

I tried a different style of mudguard with 2 and 3 pinch twists at the front.
The mudguard sat better with just 2 pinch twists.

I was getting ready for next week's workshop, there are still spaces available if you'd like to join us?

Trying to get the mud guards proportioned onto the 160 bike are a little tricky so
I upscaled the design for a 260 and added the mudguards in 160's.

Some Push Bikes from the Zoom workshop we did last night.
The mud guards going all over the wheel as per a normal bike pushes the frame and wheels out of position.
So with just a short section of mud guard it gives you the look but keeps the bike looking proportioned.
