Someone said it was impossible to put a sculpture inside a bubble balloon because you can't stretch the lip and its plastic rather than stretchy latex.  Well that was a red rag to a bull.  The model I posted yesterday with the daffodil was mad to go inside one but I failed. so posted the model in its own right.  Today I thought I would try again but couldn't be bothered to make anything too detailed so decided to keep it simple with a rose.  Well it worked.  If I had made something bitter that could have gone in so will probably have another go tomorrow and fill the bubble balloon more.  Mind you, as they say, sometimes less is more and I think the rose looks nice except I used a pipe cleaner inside it and it would have sat better with a straw.  Thats the problem putting something in a bubble.  You have to make sure it sits right because you can't adjust it very easily later.  There is a slight distortion to the bubble so I added a little embelishment to it.

That looks great, especially with the embellishments as well. How did you make the little butterflies? ;)

Have to admit I bought the butterflies when I did some decor for my daughters wedding. I use laminate to re-seal the bubble after putting the sculpture inside.

Wanted to see if it was a fluke or if it was a viable technique.  Also wanted to try to get the head, neck, and bust in one.
