Title: Snow Globe Penguin
Post by: phoenix on November 23, 2012, 10:03:07 PM
I made this up to put in a local shop with some cards for a bit of Christmas advertising.

A bit of a tricky one, so I hope no one wants one  ;)  ;)

Someone showed me how to do the "snow globe" thing at a conference last year, but I can't seem to remember how to do it. Is there a youtube video or can someone refresh my memory? I know you have to turn the clear 646 inside out....but beyond that, I cant remember a thing.

Hi Alysia,

I learnt that from an Enchanted Rose from beauty and the Beast tutorial and adapted it

The tutorial was from the awesome Mdm Twister from Singapore . She is a facebook friend that I chat to a lot, so I will ask her if the video is still up  xx

Hi there,

Hope you had a good weekend....

This is the link for the tutorial. I used a 660 for the globe, as the penguin is fatter than the rose, but it is the same principal

I gave this a try and used the rose under glass effect, so thank you for helping me create this.  It will come in handy one day.

That looks fabulous Cindy....The tricky bit is getting the rose to stay in place, yours is great, and a lovely rose design :)
