Title: Swan
Post by: Graham Lee on November 05, 2015, 07:48:30 PM
I have just seen a lovely swan by Dale Campbell on facebook and it got me twisting, it was so simple and elegant.
They are all slightly different, mainly the tail feathers.

I made a larger swan today, then played with the smaller design again.
I was not too keen on the tail feathers in the first picture so tried the way I did the tail on the smaller one the other week.
I think it works better with picture two.

So I then played about with the one balloon 160 swan and like this one so much more then the others I tried a few weeks back.
I will show and explain this one at Darlington and Edinburgh next week.

I just love the flow and look of the whole piece, although the side on picture could be a little better.

I was playing with the swan again as I'm trying to decide the other two balloon designs to post form DVD 7,
Live from Holland.

This is a 350 and a 260 white plus the scrap of orange for beak but you could do without the scrap
so possibly a usable two balloon swan for the real world.

A few more swans I have made over the past couple of days.
I was making some variations to one I posted on my DVD 7, Live from Holland DVD.

Another swan, I did see a more complicated version on pinterest.
The name next to it was Korean/Japanese so I was unable to read and give credit.
My apologies for that, it inspired me and this is my simpler version from a flower base.

Another variation on the swan. I was going through my pictures to update
my portfolio and swan the swan with a 260 neck and thought it was not
right so up dated it a little.
