I made her using Ken Stillman's instructions from his Balloonclick website, which are the same as on his DVD which Darren has reviewed in the review section of the forum.

As mentioned in the review, there seemed to be a problem with the design, in that her chest and top body section kept falling off. Darren had an idea to stop this happening, so I tried it and it works  :D

Darren's idea was to put 2 raisins in the heart, tie scraps to these, and use them to tie the heart into the shoudders. Brilliant idea, which works well, (although I prefer to use small beads rather than rasins)

Thanks Darren for your help, and for all the hard work you put into the reviews  :D  :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Glad you like her

There are a lot of Superhero fans here, as we have a local comic book store I have done window displays for.

This was for a birthday, coincidentally just after Ken bought the designs out !!

And yes Graham, the shorts are a bit short, but as you know, everything shrinks a bit in the cold weather
Kind regards

Glad you like her, and nice to see you back on the forum Anna, hope you are well

Thanks Alysia for your tip re dried beans. I went to our local natural food shop, and bought some dried chickpeas. I got a couple of scoops full for less than a pound, compared to a small bag of beads which I paid over £3 for.

Great idea  :D

Thank you Kevin I'm well now only a little bit busy with different things (that unfortunately don't include twisting). Hope to revert ASAP with some pic of my latest works!
Hugs :D
