Hi all,

I'm really excited! I'm going to be on the radio in 20 minutes. It's an internet radio, so you can listen online at:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/its-all-go ... -way-is-up

It's about my journey over the last 6 years from just starting out, to there being 3 wonderful maths clowns (our own Dave Hickory in one of them) and the journey from here!

I always knew that when decorators start twisting (seriously and enthusiastically), great things would happen - more twisters learning decorating techniques would be fab too!

Notice, that not only has a 5" cluster been used, the sizes are graduated... VERY nice :o).

For first timers:

Graham supplies the balloons but not pumps, cutters or markers.

Bring a pump (or buy one from Graham)
Bring scissors (or a cutter - can buy one from Graham)
Bring markers - everyone is generous about lending theirs and inevitably go home with less than they arrived with!!! Best if everyone brings their own :o)
If there's something in particular you prefer to eat, bring it.
First and foremost bring your happy face and be ready to have a great time!

I do love it when subjects like maths etc are shown in a fun way, it is amazing how much children take in with out realising they are learning. I have a very good friend that is a teacher & magician who has used Magic and juggling to help teach maths and science to pupils. I have sat and watched some of his shows and learnt things myself.

Roger.

Thanks for the link Roger. I have seen some unbelievable mathematical juggling - some very highbrow maths juggling too. The more the merrier and juggling is SO entrancing, especially to teenagers!

p.s. I taught someone to juggle in 10 minutes the other day - I was sick!..... It took me FOUR years!!!!! I was also VERY proud of her :o)
