Does anyone know if I can find those plastic balloon sealing cups with the preattached cotton string? No, I'm not talking about the self sealing valved ones that are usually seen on balloons in the UK, or the ones with the curly white ribbon. These cups were used quite a bit on helium balloons in the 1990s and even early 2000s. It's like these cup and string don't even exist anymore. They're sort of nostalgic for me is all.

Again, not the one with the white curly ribbon or the self sealing valve. These had a thin white string tied on.

I'm so mad that the Mickey Mouseheads aren't in the newest catalog anymore  :'(  >:( Are they really discontinuing them? Is it because they're super expensive and not easy to blow up? They also discontinued the "white stars all over" print. If I had to choose I would've gotten the black and white ones.

Please tell me the Mickey's aren't gone for good. They still sell them in Disney World but with the WDW imprint. They even have some jumbo sized that are 30 inches for the parades!

I just want light blue Mouseheads and that red yellow dark blue assortment with Mickey's face. I wish EBay would sell the remaining bags for cheap. I DO know how to blow them up properly (ears first) and even turn them into the Glasshouse balloons (inside the clear Deco bubble.)

Yes I agree about discontinuing colors that nobody really uses anymore. Kind of wish that Pearl Fuchsia was still available. How long ago did that get discontinued?

Pretty much all the same but just the standard assorted are slightly different shades from 30 something years ago, especially the green yellow and blue. They used to have this pearlized Fuchsia (not pearl magenta which still exists) in the 90s. Yes I remember burnt sienna but I never used those.

Like the dark green, dark blue, and yellow were slightly different. I think they were more see-thru. Somewhere between jewel tone and opaque. The only place that the "original" green exists now is the Pioneer Water Grenades. When did they go to the current shades? I think around 93ish is when they changed.

I also wish I could talk to more people about this.

How do I get in touch with him? I liked the older Pioneer colors and shape. I think the light green one in the ziploc bag was also an older Pioneer but it's too degraded to tell.

I found this old balloon that I've been keeping with other old ones in the freezer. I think it's from 1990 when the mall originally opened. From our former shopping center mall. Is it an older form of Pioneer? I'm from the USA. Not sure how different Pioneer Line balloons are in the U.K.

I also have another one from the 60s and it's the same exact shape and mold.
