Hi Kenny,

This sounds interesting I am looking forward to hearing more about exactly what it is :)

Wow, great work! I love the little table especially the legs.

When you put it in place did you use a knot lamp or something similar to keep it in place, or was it free moving?

:)

Here are my sea turtles made using the instructions posted by Graham.

I made the turtle on the right with a 160 for the body it allowed me to give split fins for the back feet/flippers too ...

Enjoy,

Without a doubt I would be happy to help anyone with their twisting needs ... It goes without saying :P

And yes I am house trained ... thx for that Graham ... at least I know that I am not meant to put my feet on the table ... unlike someone I can think of ;)

Balloon Chit Chat / Please help if you can

Hi All,

I am sorry to bother you and thank you for taking the time to read.

I just got contacted by a UK Charity and they would like me to come over from Ireland and do some ballooning on Sunday for them, I did a gig for them a few years ago, along the same lines.

What I am trying to find is a floor/sofa/mattress where I could stay, in the North of London from Friday night (21st Jan) till Monday morning (24th Jan). If anyone out there in Balloon Chat can help I would be much appreciative.

I should be on-line from now till when I leave for London, so if you can help I would be most appreciative, either post a message here or send me a pm.

I know I haven't posted much here and I apologies to Graham for that, mind you I haven't posted much anywhere in the last 2 years it's been hectic what with going back to college and all.

Happy 2011 to one and all,

Michael

Hey Rollie,

It took way longer than 10 mins to get from your house to Euro Jam, especially after we had stopped for breakfest at the Bakery ...

Hey Russell,

Good to see you here! Nice short intro ... but I suppose it says it all :P ;)

Unfortunately I don't think I am going to make it to Wales on this trip ... however I am hoping to be over around November looking at my diary.

Sorry :(

Well lets see,

I'm an Irish Magician, Puppeteer, Pace Fainter and Balloon Sculptor. I also design and build websites and am a fully qualified mechanical engineer. I regularly suffer from boardkey lysdexia ... so please excuse any smelling pistakes that I make in my posts

Okay well lets see I got my first magic set when I was 2 it was made by Fisher Price and was indestructible, it had everything from sponge balls to sliding compartments as well as a wand that made a flower grow at the end and colour changing silk scarves ...

I grew up watching Paul Daniels every Sunday on TV after a nice lunch at my grandmothers ... after that I got a set on balloon modelling for my 8th birthday ... when I was 9, we went to see Paul Daniels perform live in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin ...

And well I have been hooked and performing ever since ... I attended my first magic convention (a Mystic Circle one) when I was 11 and joined the Society of Irish Magicians when I was 12 ...

Last year (2007) I was awarded the title of British Balloon Modeller of the Year, at the First British Balloon Modelling Convention in Nottingham ... this year I was invited back to lecture ... I have worked all over Europe and the rest of the World ...

Ummmm ... well ... I'm not sure what else to write ... so I guess I will leave it there ... for now
