This is what he ended up being (this is the picture from my facebook). I don't even know how many balloons I used, it was hell but it's days later and the client sent me a picture of her daughter cuddled up with "Marshall" for nap time so he has held up amazingly well. I don't know how you would do the body roll with anything bigger than a 350, though. And the top of his head before I put the hat on what a mess, all knots and messy. If I do it again, I will need to make some adjustments.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Monster High Draculara
August 27, 2015, 09:10:41 PM
This is a video tutorial on how to make Monster High's Draculara. It's by Balloons Palm Beach (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr8bpb ... Fn0kw8KStQ) Be sure to check out some of their other videos.

You will need:
  3 wild berry 160s
  6 black 160s
  2 white 160s
  2 pink 160s
  1 wild berry 260
  1 black 260
  1 blush 260
  1 scrap blush 260

I did this tutorial and made this balloon, but I had no wild berry so I used a shade of purple. Here is my results:

If you do this tutorial, be sure to post your pictures below! I hope you enjoy making Draculara!

Balloon Chit Chat / Did you make your own website?
August 26, 2015, 10:32:09 PM
I am venturing into the world of website making because well, I am impatient and can't afford to pay $2,000 for one and what I have so far (I think) looks good but some people in the business have told me it's better to just not have a website than to make my own because it won't look as polished and professional. I wouldn't have the money needed to make one for hire until Februray and my little business is really taking off, I'm starting to get some corporate clients, and I just feel like I need more than a Facebook page.

What is everyone's thoughts on this matter? I am using sitey.com, the same website I used to make my personal blog because it's so easy to customize.

I did Holly Hopper's doggy with 260's and finally tried my hand at the classic diamond shape to give sweet Fefe a little bling on her collar. Think she turned out great.

Well, I'll list the tutorial like I always do, and then state my problem I am having with it.

This is Holly Hopper's Deluxe Dog Balloon Animal Tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow_LV61ZmmA (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0_MYs ... ZTrev-99GQ - Her main channel, be sure to check out her other videos and like and subscribe!)

You Will Need:
 2 260s of the same color for the body
  1 scrap 260
 1 260 for the ears
 1 red heart or red/pink balloon for the mouth

Ok, so, the problem I am having is I want to make this with 350s but I keep getting caught up at the body. When it comes time to roll (bird body formation as she states in the video) I can't get them to budge. They don't pop, and I work with them forever but I can't get the balloon through and can't get the air to go out to get it through because it's too far up in the balloon and even if I could, it's too tight between the two balloons to get anything in there. I try it again with looser (less air in) balloons, and all the air just goes out of all the balloons when I push on them. There has to be a trick when using 350s, because I know it can be done, I've seen penguins and birds in pictures and videos made out of 646s. Very frustrated here, would appreciate any advice, need this done by Sunday my time so I'm down to the wire.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Line work ideas

Thanks for the link! I don't know why but you listing the amount of balloons you used reminded me, I don't know if any of you have heard of the YouTube balloon artist Cody Williams, but he explains that when he does like stadium twisting and such he charges $1 per balloon and I have started doing that (even though I honestly loathe outdoor twisting/live twisting) I mostly specialize in making it at home and taking it to the folks and setting it up there. When I was a clown in high school I had every bodily fluid possibly on me, had my second ear piercing on my left ear ripped clear through and out of lobe in a jump jump house, broken bones from stilts, and got set on fire by a 7 year old and got 3rd degree burns on my right arm that I will always have scars from. Chuckles the Clown has been to hell and back haha. My last gig for balloon twisting was last month at a frat house end of the year party, I just charged them all $5 for hats, they were all so drunk and happy. I think when I am old I'll just set up outside of bars and make balloon hats to give away to the sad drunks for free because I have never seen anymore more happy than a full grown running back with a unicorn balloon hat asking me to wearable rainbow tail lol. It was one of my best gigs and I made a lot of money because drunk people spend money like water   But even then, on average each hat took about 4-5 balloons because I made A LOT of football helmets and unicorn hats. I think $1 a balloon plus $1 tip is fair.

Their belly buttons, chest hair, and tattoos are the greatest things I have ever seen drawn on a balloon ever. You are my new favorite balloon artist

The Balloon Friends group on Facebook could help you :) they know more about that stuff. But come back for twisting stuff! Because they are mainly decorating and don't have anything twisting.  :)

ugh, you make the ears look so easy in this picture. I can't do ears like that. EVERY time I try that pop. Or there isn't enough air and the one that ends up in the middle deflates. I try with 160, 260, 350. They look so tidy with yours though.  :)
