Balloon Chit Chat / Meerkat - was it Twistina?
September 09, 2014, 12:01:28 PM
I am pretty sure it was Twistina that did a gorgeous standing meerkat a couple of years ago
In the back of my mind she did simplified instructions for one - can anyone remember if it was her and if there were any instructions made available? More than happy to pay for them.

Balloon Chit Chat / Balloon Bellies
June 07, 2014, 03:57:17 PM
I've seen a few pics of characters that people have made with a balloon tummy that contains sweets or something similar.
I could copy the design as they seem pretty simple but does anyone know of a dvd etc that shows the concept? That way I can give that person something back for the use of their idea rather than just using it.

If it is from a freebie that someone has posted on youtube etc then does someone have a link? That way I can credit them somehow

We recently entered a competition to win a makeover for our company Facebook Page and amazingly we have been shortlisted!!!
It is all down to who gets the most votes - could you help?
If you have a minute spare could you nip over to http://t.co/ptosz0r and leave a comment? Each comment counts as a vote
I would be really grateful as it would really give the company a real boost.
Thank you in advance

Prepare for a rant! Will keep it short and sweet though I promise.

Just looked at the schedule and see that Ken Stillman and the lovely Robbie are teaching their classes at the same time. Who in their right mind would do that? OK so it seems I am more tired than I thought - and totally misread a name. Klutz! Anyway rest of rant still stands.....

There doesn't seem to be much chance of catching many of the classes on a second slot and the few that are repeated are decor based.

Then there is a whole morning dedicated to classes that are in a foreign language.

Now there do seem to be big gaps which may fill up with repeats of classes and there may be an English translator at the foreign classes so my fuming may be premature but rather than getting me all excited about going to Oxford I am now wondering if I will go.

Balloon Chit Chat / Nitrogen vs air
January 11, 2010, 09:53:14 PM
I heard that if you use nitrogen balloons stay inflated longer and models look better for longer so went and got some.

Having used it on a few comparisons the air filled things I have made seem to last better - hmmm what am I missing?

Would be great to be able to premake things for sending out and nitrogen seemed the answer but so far not convinced

Anyone else given it a go - got any thoughts on the advantages?
