It is shark week here in the USA.  I made this hammerhead shark hat today.  Not bad for an off the cuff hat.

These balloons were made for a restaurant where I work on Tuesday nights.  Both of these movies are currently playing locally.  The kids went nutz for them.  Some of the grown ups did too.  I had a lot of fun making them.

Seems everyone over here has gone from Halloween straight to Christmas.  I love Thanksgiving and here is one of my turkeys.

I made this today for a 10 year old girl.  She just wanted something special for her birthday.  I have Ariel holding a small cupcake for her.

Hi friends.  This is based upon a design from Ken Stillman.  His were a zombie and winnie the pooh dressed in a pumpkin costume.  I thought it would also look cute with skeletons.  I put a skirt on the girl.  Thought my daughter would get a kick out of this.  She did and the girl went to school with my daughter this morning.  I can't wait to try some other new halloween balloons.  Any ideas?

Hi friends.  I have wanted to try this race car for some time.  It is based on a picture I saw on the cover of Balloon Magic Mag.  I made a few minor alterations.  It was a big hit!!!!  Took a long time but so worth the effort.  I do a lot of car shows and I cant wait to take one of these to my next one.

Was messing around at a job yesterday trying to come up with something new and fun with hearts.  This is what I came up with.  He was a BIG hit with the customers.

Sometimes it is just a little thing that can keep your balloon from being exactly what you want it.  I try to learn or create a new balloon each week.  Yesterday, I was trying to come up with a seahorse for line work.

Picture number 2 is my first attempt.  Good but I knew something was slightly off.

Picture number 1 is the exact same balloon.  But after looking at it for more than 12 hours, I realized that it needed a small change.  One bend and it looks exactly the way I wanted.  

Sometimes it is such a little thing that can make all the difference.
