Balloon Chit Chat / Interesting take on a flinch
March 23, 2010, 12:46:34 PM
Hi

Thought I would post this as there is a lot of talk on charges.

This is an email I got, same person, differnt packages...

yes i did thankyou, but it is so expensive just for 45min or an hour.  expecy a party to last at leasst 2 hours. ive found a very good entertainer for only 85 and thats for an hour and a half - you are too expensive.

as we are only a church group that sort of money is riduculous for just a 2hr party we want.  that price is awful and people who pay that should get their head examined for madness.

Balloon Chit Chat / House trained dog
February 22, 2010, 01:43:51 PM
Having fun at an event yesterday whilst testing out making 360 dogs.

Was playing around with some water which spilt on the floor.

So got an idea to put a pink 360 dog on the floor and told the kids not to have this one because it was not house trained.

Really made my day especially those (parents) that took a while get the joke.

Also gave em a chance to use the Pierre joke!!!

Took a year out (1994/5) after getting fed up running mobile disco for 25 years. This was mostly weddings and schools.

Went on loads of courses for magic, puppets, balloons, music, clown etc.

Did Boo Boo's course which inspired me to move in the Fuzzy direction. He showed me how I could make a very good living out of entertainer kids.

The rest is history.

Balloon Chit Chat / Balloons for the Deaf
January 06, 2009, 04:00:53 PM
Hi

Did a show for Deaf kids last month and was asked not to use balloons.

Reason was some kids had transplants in their head and the static from the balloons played havoc with the system.

Tried to find the link for working on Tv but not getting paid, without any luck.

Equity has a 12 page book called "Low pay/No Pay work in film & Television" Your Rights.

Worth getting.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Pens when it's cold
November 30, 2008, 12:28:18 PM
Was working out side Friday and found the ink would not dry.

I use Prockey water based pen.

Suspect as it water based this is the reason it did not dry, needs heat for the water top evaporate?

Can anybody suggest a pen that will dry in cold weather please.

Thanks
