That is great!

I don't think of things as their step by step twists...I think of what the whole thing looks like, the general shape of each particular aspect of the thing, and I try to remember where to start when making it.

That way I don't need to remember the recipe...I know the final result and use my knowledge to get to that result.

I just joined a little bit ago, and have been enjoying the forum and have tried to contribute where I can. I do kind of feel like an American interloper though!

I mostly use the forum via the tapatalk app, and it's fairly easy to use. I wanted to post some pictures to a thread that I had on my computer, and I really struggled with the interface in my web browser. I'm pretty computer savvy and I've used forums before, so I was surprised at how difficult it was. Eventually I just sent the pictures to my iPad and added them using tapatalk.


I hope that this forum doesn't fade away. I'm getting increasingly disillusioned with facebook's groups. Many of he, just seem to be about promoting the projects pf a select few. Others are so filled with newbies and folks who have only learned through YouTube that the knowledge really seems to be diluted. Plus the lack of search functionality is difficult.
