Model Of The Month / Re: April Comp Balloons
April 11, 2015, 07:43:20 PM
This is a great idea, Graham.

Can I clarify though, do I need to place an order to have the free balloons to take part? (Sorry for being a bit dull, but a bit tired due to a busy week, and can't think straight! )

Hello Graham

I have just checked in my diary and the dates do not match up with the days:so could it be June 9th and 10th or 16th and 17th perhaps?

I have done a bit of research on travelodges.

Our best bet is South Croyden £65 with free parking and is 4.6 miles away from venue...Croydon central which only costs £50 doesn't have onsite parking:-(

I have also contacted the Thatched Cottage which is about 1/2 mile away from venue, it has
1x single £80 and
2x twin rooms £90 (£45 each)  including breakfast and onsite parking.

Premier Inns are over £100:-(

I have been looking at Premier Inns/Travelodge. The cheapest at 4.7 miles away is London Croyden Central Travelodge for £50. Who else needs to book a place? what do you think?

I'm definitely interested in going. What date is it? I need to keep the dates free in my diary:-)

Yes, what a fabulous two days.I am amazed at how much I learnt again. These days just keep giving! I love Thelma's 'impressionist' way with balloons and the new tips I picked up with Sue. Being part of a group/community is important too, especially the way we support each other. I can't wait for the next two days......thanks all:-)

Can you book me on, Graham? I have put it in my diary:-) It should be a great two days:-)

Well, this has come around quick...I just had a panic this morning when I realised and managed to book Travelodge through the link Graham provided on the previous page. It appeared full starting the booking search travelodge home page. It cost £42 but is still a bargain. Can't wait to see everyone there.
