Hey all. I was looking for a transformer balloon for semi line work. I have been asked a few times for one while on the job, but i have never made one before, so that was my answer. I was looking on Google images for just ordinary pic's (not balloons) of the transformers. I found a few to have a go at, but i also stumbled across a sculpture from a balloon artist called Changsunny, she has made loads of youtube tutorials on different sculptures. She had made an Optimus prime sculpture that looked approachable for semi line work, so i took a screen shot of the finished product and got twisting, i never look at the tutorials and make the sculpture that way, as i like to find my own technique and change things around too. This way when i am on the job, i don't need to refer to anything!!

Anyway here is my first attempt at Optimus Prime, i changed a few things around form Changsunny's sculpture, so that it works for me, and by using this technique i found it can be used for most of the other transformers.

Needs a bit of tweaking still, but i only had one attempt, and i found what i was looking for. The picture does not give the actual finished product justice, it's a lovely little design.!!

Looks like these are going to be my Patrick's day hats for the 17th of March. Okay sorry i forgot the pictures :roll: ...! This is on going i have actually discovered a few more designs just from making these hats. I might post them in the next few days!!

Hi all, these wands are hand made by myself and shipped to various parts of the world. The main aspect of this wand is to give the audience the idea that your wand is not fully operating, and every time you sway the wand around, all that happens is a few puffs of smoke and a few sparkles if your lucky. (like in the sorcerers apprentice) It's friction/fire based gag.

This is a new invention of mine, i have invented many toys and magic props over the years for personal use, but this wand is available to buy direct from me. If you are interested and want more information about this new wand, then PM me and we can talk further and view pictures.

The wand comes in various sizes ranging from 10mm outer diameter by 8 inches long, upto 1/2 inch outer diameter by 12 inches long.

The price of the wand is £20, not including postage, and that's for any size. And it comes with bag of 20 pieces of re-loading material.

The coolest thing about this wand is the audience really thinks that it's trying to actually do the work, but really can't..NOW THAT'S PRICELESS!!

Hi folks, I have been twisting now for many years, also creating magic shows, in Ireland and England, i have had some tough times over the years. With down turns in our business, recession etc.

But all in all, 2014 was the worst year in business for me, from being out-quoted by wanna-be  entertainers, and under skilled balloon artists, i think this may be my last year doing both. Don't get me wrong, we all have to make a pound to feed the family, this is true, but the struggle is to much for me at the moment.

I love balloon art, i love coming up with new creations and balloon ideas, i have never really had any formal training making balloons form day one, never bought a DVD or book to date!! Balloon art always seemed like second nature to me, but my love for balloon art as a business is slowly dying out, so this year i will be trying for the last time, trying to make things work, get more customers,gigs and do more advertising and what ever it takes to get my business back on track.!!

So if any of you have any suggestions, then please post them here.!!
