Hello Balloon People,

I'm in a new balloon show in London and i'd love you to come along.

Baby Boomers is a grown up show, using masks and Balloons, it is a poignant show about a couples loss of a child and how they cope with their situation. It follows a women with dementia as she looks back at her younger self. All set to 1950's rock and roll music this play is too painful to be sentimental yet too life enhancing to be tragic. This is a play brimming with humanity. You know it can't end happily, yet somehow it does.

"A lovely little romance that will appeal to anyone with a heart and an imagination". The Scotsman

It is also a double bill with Frank Wurzingers clown show, so you get to see two shows for the price of one.

Here is a link to the theatres website. x

Hope to see you there.

Hello everyone need some advise I was thinking about selling balloons at the Edinburgh festival to earn a bit of ectra cash as Edinburgh is very expensive!

I was going to twist up there but as I am in a show that involves quite a bit I thought it was agood idea just to sell helium foil ones. wondering if anyone has done this before? any ideas of what to do? do I need a licence? how much to charge?

any comments or suggestions would be most welcome.

Picture Gallery / Balloonatic decor
June 08, 2009, 08:46:07 PM
Our first dip into the decor world, an agent called us to help out as her regular guy dropped out last minute. So we did decor with a Balloonatic twist! The theme was mariposa barbie and pirates when I asked the very sweet 4 year old what her favourite thing was at the moment she said Sleeping BEauty! This was just before the head was due to go on, so the creation on the left is Sleeping beauty dressed up a fairy!!!

N.B under floor heating is not good for balloons!

My first official balloon dress went into London Fashion week!

It was an after party fashion show called wearable art for durable people, it was a fantastic night Sarah Thomas Lane also made her first balloon dress, We were even asked to be in the fashion show! We stayed out until 4 in the morning, Debbie Stephens, my teacher in America, said the reason she loves balloon dresses was because of the reaction and that is so true! we got on the tube, dresses still wrapped up and on manequins, and the photographs started it was crazy. We loved it! Gave out every card I took with me! the dresses were no means perfect but to be honest no one cared!
