I was just a lowly actress making a few extra quid by learning how to do some simple balloon modeling and face painting, The company I worked for at the time, The Ministry of Fun, liked SKILLED people, so I let my artistic juices flow. I then stumbled across a women called Michal Khan, who turned out to be an amazing balloon modeler she showed me a few tricks and twists and then I was hooked, I started scouring the interweb for new things to inspire me, on every balloon modeling job I would learn from my fellow performers. I wanted to get to a stage where some one would ask for something and I would say sure thing, i'll make it! I was so inspired I was brimming with ideas for new models, costumes, shows, characters I was becoming a BALLOONATIC so much so that Michal, who was the owner of the Balloon modelling company Balloonatic at the time, decided to offer me her company! She was ready to hang up her golden balloon pump and I was well and truly up for taking over the world with balloons, This was in April 08 and already Balloonatic has doubled it's work load, we have 4 new costumes, 5 new people and boys are now welcome! Danny the Idiot, Natalie, Sarah is Boring are all Balloonatics. I try to personally train up everyone who works for Balloonatic we have regular jam sessions to keep our standards high. I like to think we are  creating the new generation of Balloon modelers
Oh by the way I am still a lowly actress and I am currently working on a balloon show called Balloon Boutique which uses masks and balloons!

Balloon Chit Chat / My first ever dress!
November 21, 2008, 10:03:54 PM
We went to Dubai and did not have to work because the mall we were opening had not been finished!  So on halloween night we decided to make a balloon dress and enter the fancy dress competition, We did not win but got an honourable mention which in my mind means we came second!

It's very simple but I like that about it!
