Balloon Tutorial & Help / Re: I need a frog

THANKS PETRA!!

That's kinda what I was thinking too but it was hard to tell from the photo & my balloon was being stubborn so I couldn't make the 2 lock twist bubbles look right either.

OK - I made an attempt at that frog hat.  Something's not quite right with the mouth but I can't figure it out...  Mark, would you mind advising?? :| [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] 0618092051.jpg[/attachment:1atc2w2k] [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] 0618092052.jpg[/attachment:1atc2w2k]

SWEET!!  I'm just about 30 minutes from Clover.  My grandmother & grandfather were both from there & I still have some family there.  It really is a SMALL world!!

Still haven't really figured out the purpose of Twitter, but I LOVE FaceBook.  I like it so much because I can post pics & notes to keep the family, friends & other twisters informed of what Royal Ruckus has going on.  You can also get into networks on Facebook but I wasn't able to find anything like that on Twitter, not saying they aren't there - I just couldn't find a way to search for a specific type of people that was successful.  Any ideas??

LOVE that hat!!  Too cute!  I'm gonna have to see if I can work that one out if you don't mind.  Would be a cute addition to my hats.  That's my favorite thing to make!!

OK - it's not the best, but it didn't turn out too bad!  I used the instructions from this forum //http://www.balloonchat.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1419

I have only done a vase a couple of times before & it's been quite some time.

The flowers I didn't really have any instructions.  Just did them off the top of my head.

What do you think? [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] 0617090907a.jpg[/attachment:1dl34w54] [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] 0617090907b.jpg[/attachment:1dl34w54]

Thanks!!  Can't wait to get home & try it tonight.  Really stinks having to work a "real job" & not being able to twist whenever I want.  But... we like to have a roof over our heads & food on the table so it's a "must" for now.

George, Those are really cute.  I love the elephant!  Do you have a different shot of him?  I'd like to see what he looks like from the side.  I've been asked for an elephant before & just don't have a good one to offer.

Is there a video of this anywhere online??  I would LOVE to see how he gets in there but don't know that I'll ever have the pleasure of seeing Don in person.

Seems like I remember something about that on the balloon-animals forum but I'm not 100% sure.

Looking back at mine, I'm not liking his ears... it looks too much like a bow.  I'm thinking they need to be done differently.  I see on yours Graham, you did 2 bubble lock twisted for each ear?? I like that better than mine but it still looks like a bow.  :?

I like him a little thicker as well.  My friend was twisting with me yesterday.  Here is the one she did... with me telling her pretty much step by step  :P [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ] 0607092054.jpg[/attachment:pbw4lcsc]  She used the 3 orange 1 goldenrod body on hers.  We both used a 160 tail... not sure which I like better, that or the 260...

OK - here's my attempt.  Not too bad working from a picture.  I was very pleased with the head.  The body, not as much.
