Perhaps you could inflate some of the latex-free medical gloves and twist something out of these. They are quite strong. They make for an easy hedgehog!

        its a thought darren!

Quote from: "Graham Lee"I do not know of any modelling balloons that are latex free although there is always a discussion on them going on over the years.

The company who i work for have been in contact with someone over in china, but they will need a huge order to produce these!

Balloon Chit Chat / Latex free balloons

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone has asked this before, but are there any balloons out there that are latex free?

I get quite a few jobs in the medical industry, and one of the exhibitions that I do are asking for no latex, obviously this has caused me a problem, so just wondered if anyone knew of any latex free balloons anywhere?

Thanks

Quote from: "nippy99"GIRAFFE by Andrew McDonald

A really cute Giraffe. This is quick to make and I like the use of a yellow round for the nose and mouth. I decided to mount this one on a geo-base and add a tree. It made a quick and easy display piece.

This is horrible news! I have been making a giraffe that looks a lot like that for the past 2 years. I use a pink round and the little antlers are made of a mocha 160 that then spirals as a mane down the neck. I was about to film a video for my channel showing how to make it. And to think I had something original...

Don't be disheartened, you created something that is in print already, that can only be a good thing that your model is good enough to be sold! Someone else had the same idea, and got there before you! So i suppose it saves you doing the research to see if its been made before.

You hear magicians arguing about this all the time, both have the same idea and release the ideas and then argue that one copied the other! So suppose you don't have to go down that route now! (not sure if this would be the same as balloon models? )

Yeah, i'm going to get some sign writing on mine, but for now a business card will do, or some sort of "if found please call" label!

I dont do much agent work at all, so I'm safe there!

Update guys, its good news!

we went back to the hotel today, after my mother went on saturday (and looked through the bins) I looked through them today to find it into of the bin!

So its a great result! I was annoyed that they maybe could be lying a little with putting it in the bin.... as it was at the top of the bin..

Note to self... write name on pump!

I should have explained a little more....

I sent someone to the hotel yesterday, it's no that far from me. They claimed to have thrown it in the bin..... The person who I sent over, cleared the bin out, and it was not in the bin that the manager said that he'd put it into.

They are supposed to save things for 14 days, but havnt in this case!

Sooo annoyed! With my self for leaving it, and them for binning it without even trying to call anyone about it!

Like a jerk, I've left a filbert pump at a gig I did on the 12th august, I needed it yesterday and Thats when I realised it had gone! I checked everywhere 5 times (like you do) thinking I'd left it in the house somewhere!

After about 5 phOne called between the customer and the hotel, I managed to track it down and the receptionist at the venue said she's seen it the dy before (Friday) but she said they only usually keep things for 24 hours then they bin them!

Now I know it was my own fault for leaving it, but what right have they got to just bin equipment! It was about £120 and took 8 weeks to arrive, so it's not as if it was cheap, or as if I can just nip out and buy a new one! The hotel made no effort to contact the bride and groom to tell them something had been left....

.... So do I have a right to claim from them?? Will I be covered through equity in anyway?

Or is it one for the scrap book??

Anyone done similar?

Also, just found out that the policy of the hotel is to keep things for 14 days... they havnt even waited 7 and havnt tried to contact us!

Quote from: "Graham Lee"Yes I remember artwist by Jeremy Johnson I think? I have always said the site would be free  ;)  but I suppose there is always room for a PayPal donation button for those that wish.
Well maybe?

I was actually going to suggest a donation button Graham! But wasn't sure if you'd go for it!

You could run some competitions too :-)
