Cindy, did they tell you why you can't take it as carryon?
I bought one for an upcoming trip, but can't find a suitcase in New Zealand that is large enough to take it.  Plan B was to take off top and bottom and put it in a larger tube with a handle.  As long as it still fits within the total dimensions of carryon for the airline, should work?

Picture Gallery / Deaf Party
May 18, 2014, 12:23:28 PM
I did my first Deaf party on Friday - to celebrate New Zealand Sign Language Week.  I was sooo nervous beforehand, even though I am learning NZ Sign.  I needn't have been nervous - everyone was so helpful and wonderful!!  I totally Love my job!

I made some superhero columns and centerpieces (thanks to Ken Stillman and Balloonclick) to fit in with the party theme, which had found new homes by the end of the night

Have just seen this - love the idea!!  Was asked to make a boat on Saturday - Pirate ship would have been great!

I had the same problem, and not having a spare room.  I ended up using a blanket box.  Looks nice in our room.  260s are in tubes and others are in small bags inside bigger bags of labelled similar balloons.  Works for now.

Hi Oligunner.  It's just the luck of the draw as to how many of each you get.  If you need a certain colour, it would be best to order a bag of that colour.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Woven Helicopter
March 25, 2014, 09:40:41 AM
A few years ago I remember seeing a series of pictures of a large helicopter (maybe a jet though!!) quite realistic from memory.  Think it might ave even been a military helicopter maybe?
Does anyone have any ideas whose it could have been?  Have done a search on the forum but not found it.
