Here is a Dora gift piece I made for a little girl's birthday tomorrow (Sunday). Thought I'd share.

Once again I visited my favourite store and found stuff I could use for my balloon business. This tidy was about £6 and can fold flat if you are moving around and working on site. Just had to share!!!

I am missing meeting up with fellow twisters and I am looking at arranging a Jam in the Lancashire / Manchester area. I am open to ideas for venues and days, from previous conversations a Thursday has been a better date.

Any one else up for meeting up or even helping me to organise it?

For a long time now I have been using food bags for keeping balloons in in the pockets of my twist em up apron. These have done a grand job but the noise gets on my nerves and they have a habit of jumping out on their own.

Last week I was clearing out under my sink, as you do, and I came across some old net bags that I used to get with washing tablets. They were the perfect size for my apron and don't seem to jump out. I have tied a sample balloon to each for easy identification (I did this with the food bags, works a treat)

What do you keep in the pockets of your apron?

I made my very first David Brenion mask this weekend. Pirate Pete went down a storm with 80 Beaver Scouts at their pirate camp. They even let him board their ship. Thanks to my friend Paul for playing the part.

I am running a balloon race for a local ski slope on the 6th of May ( not the admin side, just the balloons) & I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or advice. I have already explained that if it is wet or windy it will have to be posponed and I know about inflating to 9".

How is best to tie on the labels? We are using the Qualatex ones.

One of the girls at work has requested a female firefighters for a friend's daughter who passes out of firefighters training this weekend. Here's my offering.

I know this is a long way off but if it is to happen I need to get planning!! For my birthday this May I am hoping to organise a balloon jam!! It will be open to my friends, family, twisters that I know and those I have never met!

I have a venue and now need the help and suggestions of those in the know in order to make it a success!!

Any suggestions? Dos and don'ts?? HELP!!!!

I can't believe that I finally made it into a news paper. My eldest son did a shark dive so I made the youngest a back pack. The plan was to take some pics as well as my son have fun. I got so much more!!
