I always tie straight to the wire. can't explain how it is done though and incorporate the ribbon too

I make the arch on the line at home then put one end in one bag and the other end in the other and the wire that joins them bridges the too. what I get there I use my Qualatex pump to check the spacing. if they need moving I moistened the line and they slide easily.

I have never had any problems building off site and transporting in balloon bags or wheeler bin bass. usually 2 that end up tied together. Quality is always the same as site built ones.
