Following on from the Barbie Car designs I have made recently.
I was playing with a Racing Car design as well, this is what we have at the moment.
Picture one is with the driver in place, a bald driver... he he.

We are doing a couple of free zoom's over the next 10 days. The one on the 14th is fully booked out with 40 people attending at the moment.

It's this coming Monday 14th August at 8pm UK time. I have emailed everyone with details so please check
your junk/spam folders just in case. On Monday we will be doing the Dolphin and Cat and then next
Monday 21st August it's the Fox and Unicorn. Both Zoom's are free.

I was sent a Barbie car by Danielle from Dylan Rowe from BTC on Facebook.
This got me trying a variation on a theme.

I made a variation of my Helicopter on Saturday at a gig, only because I could not remember the other Helicopters
designs that I have been making. The way I attached the lower section of the cockpit was a little different
so thought we would have the Helicopter as the model of the month.

As usual in all orders for the month we will add the complimentary balloon pack.

Someone mentioned the old style 5 balloon bike that I think I first saw in a Michael Decker book many moons ago.
It was a little like this but with no saddle, the saddle makes it six balloons.

I did a workshop last night for the Magic Circle. They are trying to offer something a little different to members worldwide. I think we did about 75 mins all together and these were the designs I explained and talked about. Obviously I waffled on about other things as well, as I do........ he he

Wobbly Flower, Fish Hat, Penguin, Rabbit, Bow & Arrow and the Fishing Rod.

I was asked for a Sheep at a gig I was working on Saturday. It's not a design I usually make so did come up with something
on the spot which was OK and passable. So come home and spent a while going over a Sheep design.

Its not often I make any decor style balloons but here is one I made today.

Looking ahead for an event next week and was trying to get a nice pleasing shape to the heart.
This looks a little too wide to me...........

So tried to pull it in a little and still looks the same.

I have been making Dinosaurs lately and while making this one I put a 160 around the mouth section with two pinch twists
for the nostrils with a 1 finger spacer bubble. Then decided to twist all three together and the Meerkat was born.
So finished it off in Lime and thought it looked OK. Not sure why I put teeth on as when I googled the Meerkat does not have any showing.

I'm a little late with getting this months model of the month ready. I was torn between two designs plus have had a few
busy'ish days for me. So we are going with the Koala design for this month. Will try to add the tutorial ASAP.

So in with all the orders this month we will have the complimentary pack of balloons if you wanted to try the design,

David and I go out every year for our staff Christmas meal. For 2022, some how we missed.
So Monday I was down in Bracknell running a balloon workshop so popped over to Windsor after
so we could have a very late 2022 Christmas meal. It was fabulous, a great Indian and
great company seeing David Crofts and his family.

We have the June Zoom tonight, Wed 28th June for club members.
It will be for the Dinosaur with it made from just three 260's and a scrap of White.

I did make the head section from a 350 as well to see what it looked like.

I was working in a new cinema complex Saturday just gone and someone asked for a Dinosaur.
For some reason my mind went blank on the usual one I make so come up with this one.
Which then became to go to model I made for most of the afternoon.

The South West Ballooniversity are having a 10th anniversary balloon workshop with Mr Bob Wooding running the day.
It will be in Newport on the 6th September. I have known Bob for many a year and he had a beautiful balloon act back
in the late 80's and 90's touring around the Butlins circuit. Then with his balloon game show, First to Burst.

It came up on my Facebook Memories that "The Millennium Jam" was some 23 years ago now.
And I still think its the best balloon convention ever, so many happy memories.

Here I am performing my Balloon Magic act in 2007 for the stage competition.

Someone at the balloon day last week asked for a Flounder and I did not know what it was.
Lucy googled it for me, so I have been having a play with a few ideas.

The face was OK but was not keen on the body styles for either, that is why I took the pic face on.
They were also made yesterday and you can see how hot it was here, we have a heatwave in the UK at the moment.

This will be the model of the month for June, a little late putting the tutorial up.
Been a little busy but will try and put the step by step up later today.

This is what we will be putting in all the orders so people can have a go and try the design.

I was thinking of doing the Parrot for this month's Zoom but last minute someone suggested the new "Little Mermaid" film so thought
that might be nice to do. We will need to get the colour shading correct but I was trying a few variations on the design.

I made the three mermaid's first with just a 260 for the tail but it does not look proportioned right
to me so tried a weaved 160 look. Will try a 350 tomorrow to see what that looks like.
