I added the extra section to the front of the Yellow train and it then turns into more or less the same design as the Red train.

I only made the Green LOL doll after seeing how Danielle put them together for her column design.
Danielle did the artwork which I'm sure you could tell, he he.
I did laugh at putting the LOL doll in the spiral , a nice way to attach perhaps?

Balloon Chit Chat / Plants and Zombies

I went down to help Danielle with a balloon job this week, I had never heard of Plants and Zombies
but when Blake came home he named them all so it must have looked OK
Plus the feedback from the client Danielle received was very positive.

Danielle had a couple of number columns to make as well,

So it was the Red train that I progressed with and made a couple of variations this morning.
I'd gone off the Yellow one but will add a front section to see what it looks like.

The Train would need a better face drawn than the one I have done, but you get the idea hopefully.
This train is three balloons and a White scrap.

It sometimes takes a few goes for me to start getting somewhere with a design.
Thing is if you don't start you cant progress and get somewhere.

Now last night I preferred the Yellow train against the Red, the Yellow might be OK with an extra front section added.
In case you are wondering about the Yellow smoke its because I'm very low on 160 White at the moment.

So a few Push Bikes with mud guards, it is a little tricky to add them and keep the Bike shape correct as well.

The Red bike with Blue mudguards, they are made with deep apple twists.
There is a joint behind the front forks so just the nipple end of the balloon is over the front wheel.

The Red mud guards on Grey Bike I attached an un-inflated Black around the tyre to hold it into place .
It did pull the front forks out of shape though.

The Yellow mudguards give the feel to the design and sit on pretty easily without pulling the Bike out of shape.

On the last Bike I made the front and rear forks a good 5 finger bubble so the mudguards had a place to sit
and the forks ended up still centrally in the middle of the wheels.
I added the extra section to the rear mud guard but that is in two sections and a thinner look.
Would take too long I think to make in the real world for line work.

I will have a think on the mudguards to explain and also half way through writing this I realised I posted
a different seat design at the beginning of the thread on the Bike......Oooops!

The way on the Bike with the yellow mudguards sits easier on the bike as the way I explained
can be a little tricky to get sitting correctly so I will explain that style as well a little later.

Attach the front seat bubble to the two pinch twists.
Then attach the seat to the Bike.

And that is your finished Bike.

We then need a 1 finger bubble, a 2 finger bubble and another 1 finger bubble twists into the two pinch twists.
I then half a 1/2 finger small bubble that we will attach later to the two grey pinch twists on the bike.
Discard the rest this balloon but use the tip end for the front section of the seat, make this a 1.5 finger bubble.

I like to do this so that we do not have a knot showing on the seat.

Then make a 2.5/3 finger bubble, a 1 finger pinch twist and a 2 finger bubble for the other side of the handle bars.

The rest of this 160 balloon I use for the seat section, make two 1 finger pinch twists.
