Following on from the problems with my memory card when we were recording our new DVD, my picture card will not copy onto my main computer for some reason. Hoping to download onto my laptop and then move across with a memory stick. We did have 33 people attend and many were taking pictures but not that many put pictures onto the forum, fingers crossed some will this afternoon.

Thanks Dennis, we got back about an hour ago. Had a really lovely day, thoroughly enjoyed the day with Twistina showing some very nice usable models and a nice selection as well. The basic class in the morning was great fun and one not to have missed, some very funny banter flying around and trying to explain on the forum is impossible. We tried a slightly different format for the basic class which I think I will try again sometime as it seemed to work well'ish, I enjoyed it and was crying through the laughter.

I have been advertising a care & share day in Bishops Stortford in Oct but I'm thinking about not running the day as we have to have 10 days for the guild and we have with Twistina next week six days completed. Then with Ken in Nov taking us up to eight days, this will leave us two more days in the new year for Jan/Feb/March so taking the club to it's first year conclusion. If I run the day in Oct we will only have one day next year till April or we would need to start the club from an earlier month.
Any suggestions or thoughts?

Our credit card machine has arrived and we can now take payment over the phone for those that wish not to pay via the website and PayPal.
We will also be able to take credit cards at the care & share days and conventions.

Don't worry Neil as I'm not into fancy dress either, we can maybe have a table with all the sad not wanting to join in people on.

I'm a member of balloonhq and have been since year dot. Do I look at all the old articles and other info, well no but I do have a quick look at the latest columns and it's a good starting point viewing the figures via the search button and I do get a lot of info via email about whats going on in the balloon world. Will I continue to be a member, yes.

The credit card terminal will be here tomorrow, just need to find out how to use it and then we are up and away.
