We do still need a few more to book for the day to go ahead, so if everyone could spread the word for us it would be appreciated. The cut off date for deciding if we have enough numbers is Thursday morning 18th March. So please book ASAP, thanks.

Has anyone got a favourite picture or two to post?

I'll try and put down what I mean when I have a bit more time but if you look at his website to others, especially his balloonhat site hopefully you will start to see what I mean.
Have a look at his youtube clips playing the balloon base, he looks at balloons differently from the majority, he mainly makes hats, no animals, cartoon creations. Completely different from the majority of people.
That's why the conversation with him this afternoon was very interesting and stimulating.

Did anyone see this? I missed it but will try to get it up on iplayer later.
Just got back from spending the afternoon with Addi in London, had a really nice time as he is someone that is 100% outside the balloon box, the afternoon was very interesting and most enjoyable.
If you do get time have a look at his website and his balloon hat book is simply stunning and a must have, you can click through from his webstie to see some of the pictures and stories from around the globe.

Quote from: "Janet Lenox"Hello, Graham,
Just wanted to let you know I have had GREAT success with this motor bike design in restaurants, so I am hereby publicly declaring that I owe you a meal the next time we meet. I have scaled it down to use 260's and have probably made 100-200 by now. Thanks for the great design! Quick and effective ($)....
:)
Thanks Janet, It's nice to get some feedback, made my day :D I'm well chuffed now.

Have just added a few round balloons to the website, 5" red, white and yellow. 11" red, white and yellow, the 11" will help with Thelma's large dog on her new CD, something for everyone.
Have also put the 18" stuffng balloons on the site with the wider neck that we used for some of the scultures in, "It's Quicker By Tube"
DVD that Thelma and I made and the 5" white we used for some of the bases.

yes looks fine now, its a bit annoying that the banana album banner pops up all the time but that may be just because I've looked at the site a couple of times.

Quote from: "Dave"This is a comp that Dave who did lecture at last "Care and Share day"
Make the opposite to what balloons are anything heavy.Closing date is end of month.
Two point's for the first three
Could yuu explain a bit more Dave as I'm lost, thanks

I think I have it now, we have to make something heavy from balloons?
Everything is heavier than a balloon so that should be no problem.

I think your font for Twistina needs to be changed, it looks very jerky? is that a word, the edging is not crisp.
It would look nicer in a smoother text IMHO

Quote from: "Neil Drummond"With apologies to the site sponsors...
Ask away Neil as the site does not have a sponsor, just me  :D
Interesting question though, Colin worked a lot with David so may know more, the Sempertex black is a fashion solid colour.
