Does anyone know where I can buy the gorgeous eyes to stick on models...I saw lovely great big ones on a picture somewhere that would be perfect for mermaids etc.  As I said before I just CANNOT draw for love nor money!!

Definitely insurance! I got mine from BAPIA (John Bowler) and you can pay for it monthly (which means you'll have more to spend on your equipment or costume) and I have found John so very helpful too.  Public Liability insurance is the first thing they ask for.  Loads of all kinds/sizes of balloons so you can make things bigger and more impressive.  A sound system so you are always in control of the crowd would also be useful.  I think we have just overspent!   :oops:

Just had to say to Sara (Snurb)  that was an absolutely brilliant YouTube video on how to do the rose weave, well explained and demonstrated, I just have not see one better.  I really think I'll be able to get the hang of it now with practice, it has been such a frustrating thing to try and learn up until now; so thank you!!  And thank you for responding so quickly to my request for this too.

Sue Bowler has great babies on her blog. The very best balloon blog and they are so easy to do.  I made this one as a gift for a new baby, can't remember where I saw one like it (saw a few actually) I have a mind like a sieve!

Yonaimy has a tutorial on a parrot which is simple and she is always a great 'go to' on Youtube. Hope this helps.  I make the usual alien body and add the pirate head balloons to it pink for girls and black for the boys.

I was asked by a husband to make something for his red-haired Scottish wife's 40th birthday at which I was entertaining the kids. Just had to put Nessie in it!
They were very pleased with it but I am the world's worst artist!  Other people hid in the toilets when games or gym was on but I hid during the two excruciating arts & crafts periods!
