Thanks guys for your welcomes.

Hi Graham,

I assumed you would have known my Dad, thankyou for your kind words.

Bishops Stortford is only about half hour away from here so I will certainly try to be there, it would be great to meet you and a few other forum members.

Cheers

Hi Nippy,

There is no brand name on the packaging.
In each pack there is 40 balloons of 30" long x 1.5" when fully inflated and a pump that immediately falls apart if used.

They are not really economically viable as I've found about 25% of each pack is useless, got holes or are deformed.
At least two are required to do the same job as one 260.

Having said all that, they were convenient for me to purchase locally and I'm enjoying practicing with them.

Cheers

Not my line, my dad's.

How did you do that?

Very well thanks :D

Hi kevin, Thanks.

The colour scheme is due to the limitations of "Pound Shop" balloons, there are no white.
He's built using 12 balloons
I figured I'd play with and waste the cheapest of balloons for a while before investing in better ones.
If I can make things with these I'll have no trouble using decent balloons.

Daniel, I'm new to this forum, I kind of understand where you're coming from and do appreciate that it is a difficult subject.

If you are finding this is a problem my advise would be to take a good look at how you present yourself.
Your actions, behaviour, the way you dress, or maybe the things you say, or more likely the way in which you say them may be a cause for concern to some people, maybe you come across as a little too friendly, who knows?

I've no idea how old you are or how long you've been entertaining, but the world is changing, people's attitudes are changing, you have to be prepared to move with the times.

Please don't take offence at my post, I'm trying to be constructive not controversial.

Cheers

Welcome / Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone,

I've been twisting for as long as I can remember, although only ever the basics which I learnt from my father,  Len Blease, who sadly passed away some years ago.
I didn't follow in my father's footsteps and currently sell baby and children's wear. I see balloon modelling as a relatively inexpensive and fun way of promoting my business and bringing smiles to the faces of my younger clientele.
I'm an Essex boy at heart but now live in London
I look forward to chatting with you all on the forum. :D

Thanks
Rob
