thanks Stuart,
I agree about neck, i started out to make a proper dinosaur and rushed it in end. hence final result.
I started to note how many balloons used but got behind as I worked so lost count, I bought  a bag of 260,350, and 646, and added some mocha I had, had spare left of 350 and 646's.
prob was started on wrong day as was working May hols and did not touch it for 4 days, legs were better when first made. but we learn from trying.

Picture Gallery / 1st large sculpture,- dinosaur

To be honest wasn't sure about posting this, as end result is not what I started off to make, but sort off changed as week went on. and balloons were going soft, and lost some strength in legs to be freestanding, as only balloon framing inside,
, we are our own worst critics, but I know many faults in making, but that's how we learn ( so I tell myself ) any way hope you like..

can anyone help.
I have been searching for a video, ( sure link was on balloon chat ). so I can watch it again.
it was from one of the conventions/ care n share. on how to build a children's balloon show. starting with warm ups/ flow of act etc.
as I am building an interactive show, partly using MB floyds puppet snake & whale. and Nippy's balloon masks, which I have downloaded
Prob, I cannot remember who it was or where, but been searching here and you tube.
can any one remember this, sure it was not so long ago.
thanks.

very interesting post, i am not that great at understanding how to track, business.
I like anything free, so far for party's Gumtree is highest and netmums second, which then feeds my web page (also free).
What i found is that as lots of people search gumtree in general,  and hence was high in google searches. but have not advertised for a while as in theme park for summer. so responce at present is low. but good to results.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: More picture theft

Ok , just actualy read whole 4 pages of this post.

As a member of Balloon chat, can i suggest we stick we stick togerther, We are all human and make errors, what is important is we correct our errors, poor Oscar. I do not beleive any member of Balloon Chat has used others pictures for personal gain, but to demonstate how varied designs can be, we all share on here... ( bad and Good in my case).

How ever there is some, Who have stolen picture purely to gain  ie "Party Packages" and more.. these should be stopped and publically notified, in any manor.

Graham, is it now time that members have and agree to a "code of conduct", and any new members must agree before, joining..
this would also clarify to newbies some of the issues and boundries, covered in this and other similair posts.. I know that i didn't have this knowledge at the start and hence fell foul, but was educated.

This forum, aims to insipre, improve and make the Balloon Industry better , through sharing and encouraging others into our world.

Just my thoughts, hope i dont upset anyone.

Thankyou to those who made suggestions, i like your list Kenny.
i have been trialing a large bird ( was titled angry bird ?).
this was taken from youtube - william harasymow, whom mentioned expertvillage.com as original.
i have upscaled it to 350's, and is quicker to make. not the best out there but has been an eye catching model.
thanks to all.

April 15, 2013, 12:39:09 PM
Hello all,
I have been a member here since Feb 2012 ( it does not feel that long ).
As a then Newbie, like all was drawn in and addicted, to feed my new addiction i searched the web /you tube etc. self teaching myself. not aware at the time as most insperation/ pictures, i considered was in public domain. ( learnt since then ). so i went on saving pic's to try later, not intending to steel. one did pop into my website and this was removed when notified. The prob then was i did not note down whom they were by, and as  often i could have been watching someone else interpretate anothers work, so how do you know whom to acknoledge?

Anyway, its time to mention some names, YouTube takes you world wide, and anyone in any country whom has posted a video. i can not name all but thankyou , this is twisting and decor.

More specific a ThankYou to -

How many times do we see soft toys stuck to car windows funny and eye catching . Insired by Grahams car, see his post"some people need glasses", I  have attached suction cups to a 160 figure, idea is for car widows, or any window, as an eye catcher.  Am I mad, or is this actually viable.
Can any one come up with better /funny designs,  for car windows, just for fun no prizes. The suction cups I  used have small hooks attached, Tesco pack 8 for a £1..Sorry Graham, just done this on tablet, so cannot fix pictures right way.
